Just Blakey's Leeds-based breaks and techno label Rufftime needed an identity that honored the raw energy of 90's underground culture. Taking inspiration from Klasse Wrecks' compilation books, I created their logo using intentionally rough, hand-drawn elements.

For the record designs, I developed a unique process using mesh and vape haze, photographing their interaction and then applying gradient mapping. This technique creates an organic, analogue texture that feels both retro and contemporary - a perfect visual translation of the label's sound.

The combined visual system bridges authentic underground aesthetics with modern production techniques, creating an identity that feels hand-crafted yet technically considered.
