Following a custom live visual performance for Aurora's inaugural event, our creative synchronicity led the experimental dance and electronic music collective to commission their logo design. They sought someone who could translate their vision while preserving their experimental ethos.

The resulting logomark emerged through a hybrid process of digital and analogue techniques. A classic serif typeface provides an intellectual and artistic foundation, while its deliberate degradation into rich textures and auric fields creates layers of meaning. This duality - structure dissolving into experiment - perfectly embodies the collective's approach to their craft.

The project exemplifies how careful translation can bridge seemingly opposing elements: accessibility with complexity, classic with experimental, structure with fluidity.
