When MASS and Haunted Dancehall collaborated to bring Berlin-based Gwenan for an exclusive all-night performance, they needed visuals that could transition seamlessly from ambient atmospherics to peak-time dance floor energy.The solution drew from my custom footage library, specifically designed to mirror electronic music's rhythmic and melodic patterns. These visuals were projected through an array of static and rotating cut glass, creating a dynamic system that could respond to both delicate ambient textures and driving 4x4 rhythms.

This technical approach allowed for organic evolution throughout the night, matching Gwenan's journey from contemplative live ambient set to four hours of dance floor classics. The resulting immersive environment demonstrated how careful visual translation can enhance musical narrative while maintaining both functionality and experimentation.
